This past Sunday, April 29th, 25 awesome JAC volunteers, including students from Metro Merge, joined forces to pack a whopping 978 snack packs for children of Englewood who often are left hungry over the weekend due to a lack of access to proper food. We all had a blast packing the snack packs and getting to know one another, but overall, we were all glad to know that the work we put in would directly benefit the children of Englewood. With the number of snack packs that Metro helped pack on Sunday, the Center for Food Action will be able to supply enough food for the students at John Grieco Elementary School and Quarles Early Childhood Center for the entire rest of the quarter
