What is the Check-In Procedure for Student Ministries?

Preschool & MetroKids Check-In

  • Check-in will take place by the school's front desk, located to the left as you walk into Grieco Elementary School.

  • During check-in, your child(ren) will receive a name tag with a unique identification number. You will also receive a tag with this same ID number, which will be required when picking up your child(ren) at the end of the service.

  • We will also double-check that we have the correct phone number on file, in case of an emergency.

  • At the conclusion of service, please be sure to show your matching ID tag to the class teacher/leader when picking up your child.

PLEASE NOTE: family members may not enter a classroom unless it is an emergency and/or permission has been given by a staff member.

4th & 5th Grade Check-In

  • 4th & 5th graders will check-in and be picked up as above; however, they will worship in the main sanctuary with their families until they are dismissed from the service and led to their classroom prior to the sermon.

Middle & High School

  • Middle Schoolers are not required to check-in and will worship in the main sanctuary with their families until they are dismissed from the service and led to their classroom prior to the sermon.

Where and when is the service taking place?

Our in-person services take place at 9:30am and 11:30am at Dr. John Grieco Elementary School, located at 50 Durie Avenue in Englewood, NJ.

What should I bring?

😷 Masks (optional)
Masks are no longer required to attend our services except for children aged 2 to Pre-K. This is a very personal decision, so if you would prefer to continue to wearing a mask at Metro please feel free to :)

We will continue to monitor the COVID numbers and any government / building mandates as time goes on. We’re trying to stay flexible and adapt as the situation changes seemingly week to week and we appreciate your patience with us as we try to navigate through all of it.

📱 Your Metro App
There will be no paper bulletins, communication cards, or offering bags handed out during the service. If you haven’t already downloaded our Metro App, we highly encourage you to do so, so that you can fully participate in the service! Learn more here!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family & Friends
There is no longer a seating limit for our in-person services, so feel free to invite all of your family and friends along!

💵 Offering Cash / Checks
If giving via our app (or online) is not your jam, we will be providing an offering box on our information table right outside the sanctuary.

When should I arrive?

Our service starts promptly at 9:30am & 11:30am. We recommend that you arrive at least 5-10 minutes ahead of the service so that you don’t miss out on any part of the worship.

Where do I park?

Parking may be found directly across the street from the school, in front of the Winton White Stadium. Additionally, there is a large parking lot, adjacent to the stadium.

Where do I go after I park?

Head to the school entrance – our smiling Welcome Team will be there to greet you :)
