Exodus
We all love a story of good triumphing over evil. In Exodus, the oppressive Pharaoh and his leaders have enslaved the new residents of the country. Against overwhelming odds, these vulnerable people of God are freed from slavery by Moses, an unlikely hero. But like real life, this story doesn’t have a simple “happily ever after” ending. “Taking people out of slavery” is a defining event, but “taking slavery out of people” is another matter. They need to be instructed about living as free people, including how to trust, obey, and worship the real Hero of His-story – God. Doesn’t this resonate with our own story as freed Christians? Join us on this very relevant and important journey through Exodus.
