The singles community at Metro Community Church is blessed with diversity. Those who fit into our ministry range from recent college grads to singles with well established careers and families. Our mission is to serve single adults by providing discipleship opportunities in the context of community. The approach is two-pronged: Fellowship into Discipleship. We believe that a desire and opportunity for discipleship will arise when we create an environment where singles can gather and enjoy themselves and feel safe with their people.

Fellowship - There's always something going on within our ministry and one of the best ways to stay up to date with what's happening is through the Facebook page here. We're taking fellowship seriously, and what that means is we'll be doing our best to provide every opportunity for you to somehow connect with the greater church body. We've also made a commitment to always have child care available for each fellowship event so that single parents can enjoy their without having to worry about their kids.

Discipleship - Discipleship is something you opt into and is the true metric of success for us. Our victory is when we see newcomers entering into a small group (there are many to pick from at our church!) and flourishing there. There is nothing better than when our community can testify to victory in Christ! Perhaps as time goes by they will be convicted to lead with the tools and skills they have been given and refined. Although it would be nice to just play games and eat together day in and day out, at the end of it all, if we are not assisting in cultivating the fruit of the Spirit, we are doing something terribly wrong. Jesus is the goal and we're always looking forward to how we can help each other get there.
